I am a qualified and accredited therapist who has provided counselling/psychotherapy to hundreds of people since 2004. I have significant experience in working with stress, anxiety and more. I have significant specialist experience in working with boys and men who have experienced recent or historic sexual abuse, assaults and exploitation. I am an experienced public speaker and have trained thousands of professionals across the country on male sexual abuse/exploitation addressing various aspects including how masculinity can play a part. I am also a qualified supervisor and provide supervision to trainee and qualified counsellors as well as other practitioners working with vulnerable children and adults.

There is no easy answer to that question. It depends on many factors including what it is you want to get out of counselling, how we work together and your level of commitment. This will be discussed further in session one.

Since 2004 I have provided counselling/psychotherapy to hundreds of adults, children and young people addressing a wide range of issues. I am experienced in working with anxiety, stress, trauma, bereavement, anger, low self-esteem, sexuality and more and I have provided counselling and support for organisations such as Cruse Bereavement Care, Terrence Higgins Trust, Yorkshire MESMAC, Freshwinds Birmingham and Relate’s Time for You service. I am also registered with a large number of Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs) who refer clients to me for short term counselling.
A free thirty minute introductory session is offered to all potential new supervisees so we can get to know each other and see what it may be like if we decided to work together.
1 hour session – £50
1.5 hour session – £75
2 hour session – £100
I provide a full days child sexual exploitation (CSE) training on identifying boys and another full days training on understanding and engaging boys. I also provide presentations and keynote speeches at conferences where I address various aspects of male abuse and share my own story of CSE and adult rape. For further details please click here.

Group work questions
I offer sessions to groups of boys and young men addressing grooming and child sexual exploitation/abuse, and mental health. Sessions are available for boys and young men in various educational and youth settings, and can be delivered to small groups or large assemblies.
